Bristol House

New Build affordable rental

Bristol House was a run down property beyond the end of its useful life. Our Client appointed DRP to design a building containing 2No 2 bed properties and a 1 bed property on an incredibly tight and odd shaped site in the Conservation area of St. Sampson's.

Whilst respecting the scale massing and forms of the surrounding are, we presented a gable with a contemporary 2 storey bay to the road, and designed a contemporary granite base and zinc clad upper level to the rear of the site.

The design intent was to make optimum use of the site to provide well insulated energy efficient properties suitable for modern day living.
